lyrics

A year without sunlight
chafed my smile
Winter lights rained signs of hope
Frayed cities raised eyebrows
to the newborn sky
and I finally flew
and flew and flew
You collapsed.
My body shook in flailing paroxysm
as I felt my ribs being pulled from me

I'm losing blood
I loved you over and over until you collapsed
I cracked

held the flood on her back
collapsed.
And the man with two heads
gave me the tongue to say "I love you"
but I couldn't trade my life for one tongue
Jesus give him back
I've lost my limbs
Mister, I loved you over and over until you cracked
I collapsed.
Her head in the clouds her eyes on fire
hands on her head and she said
and the vultures nested in my head
and she said
You all look so damn dirty
Have I ever known you?
Have I ever known any of you?
She's dead. And she said...
